The Cons

Video conferencing is a nightmare when you spend a lot of money on a lot of nothing.

Specifics

GoToMeeting: Lag! Inconsistent applications and features. Food for thought, will you ever have 100 participants in your call? If so, that's some impressive lag.

Fuze: The video conferencing limit caps out at 12 participants. With that being saud, Premium and Rooms are both twice the price of Pro, but don't increase the video participants. The two only increase the amount of Voice participants... but again, 100 participants? Really?

WebEx: Following the concept of, more people=more lag, why have 100 participants? And only 7 video participants at a time at that? Even witht he higher price, you're still going through the small problems and inconsistencies. There is lag, default browser is IE, PDFs are sent often, instead of the original format, the list goes on...

BlueJeans: Expensive. The website provides no pricing, and you never know what they offer. No plans, no details, so nobody really knows.

Highfive: Their website is a little vague. The videos and pictures are very promising, though. Because of the odd name, it's actually really hardto find reviews. One of the biggest problems is the fact that they don't have much of a brand yet. Their new Premium plan coming at $1,199 isn't actually complete yet, a little disappointing.

The Benefits

Video conferencing is when you have the means to splurge on something great. What's worth it?

Specifics

GoToMeeting: Screensharing, HD video, recording,24/7 customer support, and much more. The Plus version basically offers all that the Pro version did, but it has a capacity of 100 participants.

Fuze: Comes in two versions - Rooms and Premium. Both allow for 250 voice participants, and 12 video participants. There are Webinar options, as well as the ability to record meetings.

WebEx: The Premium verison allows 100 participants with 12 video participants. Premium lets users record meetings, share screens, and even remotely control someone elses' desktop.

BlueJeans: Used by huge, huge, HUGE, companies (like Facebook, Pandora, and GoPro). Very straight forward, very sleek, with no non-sense glitches.

Highfive: Software and hardware! HF has many plans, mostly evolving around large companies installing the Highfive video conferencing system in different rooms. There are demos and videos available online. Highfive is the M-Comms top recommendation.
